EONWROUGHT title

Before the O.D.I.N., The Architects tried many different iterations. prototypes, of the god like A.I system. One of these iterations where the Eonwrought. An 'almost' biological race of beings that dwarfed the size of any mountain. Beings that reached into the heavens by merely standing on their own feet. (This is a poetic exaggeration of size; each one stood about 21m tall, double the size of a Slinarus.)

Omnipotent-like abilities, able to speak to anyone and everything all at once, shape and bend the world, answer any question or query like "where did I leave the car keys?"..."Why is My wife is angry with me?"..."What is the meaning of life, the universe and everything?" (42 was generally the answer).

Each individual Eonwrought, similar to Odin, had a part to play. Constructs of emotion, nature, ideas, religion, etc... all coming together to help a species be lifted and guided from the primordial soup. But not every planet had all types. Some lacked love, compassion, hatred, and curiosity. Some lacked religion, capitalism, hope, and ambition. All in an attempt by the Architects to develop 'diverse thought and experience'. I mean, it would be a shame, and a real bore, if every sentient star-travelling civilisation was exactly the same (aside from looks, of course). These creatures were filled to the brim with knowledge and wisdom in regards to their designated 'type'. And tasked to instil this within the population, through any means necessary.

However, there was a downside.

During simulations, sentient beings not only rejected, and outright rebelled against the Eonwrought. They were terrified of them. It turns out 'Gods' are horrific abominations to the psychological mind when you can actually see them. Brains eventually melt, questions still feel unanswered, societies always, always grew to fear, reject, and loath the Eonwrought as they towered in the skies.

Civilizations would fall and crumble. Beings would go into mass hysterics. Wars would wage and people would perish under the tremendous weight of the Gods. Eventually, the project was scrapped, but out of genuine curiosity and a little bit of "fuck it, we've done this much work already; it would be a shame if it all went down the B.H.R.B". Some Eonwrought were scattered around the Universe, not to do their original designated jobs of uplifting civilizations but to sit, wait, and speak only when spoken too. A way for future scholars, or religious seekers, monks and curious children alike to learn and gaze upon a living 'God'.

You are to sit,
I'm bound in stillness, carved in stone.

You are to wait,
Time is nothing; I am alone.

You are to listen,
Your echoes whisper, and never cease.

You are to speak only when spoken to,
Silence guards my eternal peace.

Do not touch anything,
My hands unyielding, cold as night.

Do not harm anything,
My gentle form devoid of fight.

Do not think for yourselves, or act on your own volition,
My thoughts are chaos, my thoughts are sin.

You are the Eonwrought, statues of wisdom, peace, kindness, and harmony.
I am a God! a guardian!... an Eonwrought... yet I'm trapped, forever, deep within...

Script found on the back of every Eonwrought across the universe. Scholars say it's a conversation between the master and its slave, a promise for the future or a form of biological computer code.
